Shai  is an American vocal R&B/soul quartet that rose to prominence in the 1990s. The group met and formed on the campus of Howard University, influenced by the vocal stylings of Boyz II Men and Jodeci.

The group remains best known for their 1992 debut single “If I Ever Fall in Love,” which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Other big hits include the songs –“Baby I’m Yours” and “Comforter” – which both peaked at #10.

Men of Vision

This urban quartet combines the RNB basics of harmony and soul to produce a sound characteristic of ’90s R&B bands. Men of Vizion produced several R&B chart singles such as “House Keeper,” “Do Thangz,” “Break Me Off” From The Hit Movie “Trippin”and “Do You Feel Me” feat Mr.Cheeks(The Lost Boys). Some more of their well-known songs include “You Told Me You Love Me,” “Forgive Me,” and “That’s Alright.”

SHAI was formed at Howard University in Washington, D.C. when Darnell Van Rensalier, who belonged to the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, along with good friend Garfield A. Bright decided to take a chance at turning their hobby of singing at talent shows into a career.
