Born and raised in Oakland, Nate’ comes from a rich musical heritage as a descendant of the Grammy-winning Gospel Hummingbirds. Raised in a legacy of faith, storytelling, and soul, music was never simply something she discovered it was part of her foundation.
An award-winning vocalist, international recording artist, songwriter, producer, actress, event host, and co-founder of SoulGlo Productions, LLC, THESOULSANGER has built a career that refuses to be confined to one genre. Her sound moves through soul, gospel, R&B, hip hop, theater, and beyond, bringing authenticity, power, and unmistakable Oakland soul to every performance.
Throughout her career, she has shared stages and studios with artists including Patti LaBelle, Kelly Price, Carlos Santana, MC Hammer, LaRussell, and Grammy-winning producer Narada Michael Walden, with whom she has developed a longstanding creative relationship.
Her voice is also woven into Bay Area music history. Nate’ created and recorded the memorable hook for Mac Dre’s “Make You Mine,” a song that became part of his enduring musical legacy.
Her credits span radio, film, theater, live production, and recording. A Bay Area Rising Star and Best Vocalist award recipient, she has received KMEL airplay, contributed vocals to the Warner Bros. film The Invasion, and established herself as a trusted creative force both onstage and behind the scenes.
At Yoshi’s Oakland, Nate’ has become such a familiar presence as a headliner, host, featured vocalist, producer, and collaborator that she earned the affectionate nickname “Ms. Yoshi’s.”

Christie “Mirraje” Malone was born to sing. The daughter of blues musician George “Bluestone” Malone, Mirraje began singing at the age of three and writing songs and poetry by age nine. A gifted singer, songwriter, and natural stage performer, music has been woven into her life from the very beginning.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Mirraje’s journey has been shaped by love, loss, perseverance, and an unwavering desire to create. After caring for her mother and experiencing her passing, Mirraje stepped away from singing and writing for four years. The memory of her mother—her greatest inspiration, biggest fan, and loudest cheerleader—eventually reignited her passion and gave her the courage to dream and create again.
As she embarked upon her solo career, Mirraje recognized the extraordinary musical journey that had already taken shape. She has shared the stage with celebrated artists including Stevie Wonder, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Morris Day, Zapp, Club Nouveau, Cameo, Sugar Hill Gang, and Klymaxx.
